Sausage-Cabbage-Apple Skillet

Ingredients: Directions:
  1. In 4-5 QT Dutch oven cook onion and sausage in hot oil for 5-7 min or until lightly browned.
  2. Add cabbage, cider, salt & pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  4. Cover & simmer for 15 min.
  5. Add apples & cook uncovered for 5-10 min more until cabbage is tender and cooking juices are reduced slightly.
  6. If desired, serve with cider vinegar drizzled on top.
